What is the Galileo Digital Curriculum Platform (GDC)?
At the heart of the GDC are online Instructional Dialogs - online communications between one or more teachers and one or more students. Dialogs are designed to integrate curriculum assessment, reporting, instruction, management and real-time dissemination.
Why did we develop dialogic technology?
To support LEA ... implementation of ACCRS and non-state-tested content areas. To support educators... in the development, delivery and evaluation of the impact of multi-disciplinary instructional content. To support students... as active and creative learners using technology to expand their knowledge and skills
To support PLCs... in their efforts to use multi-media (e.g., video, audio, internet resources, Powerpoint, Excel) into standards-based instruction To Accommodate... the diverse, common, creative and rapidly changing needs of educators in a rapidly changing world
